Screw you, Bestbuy!
I bought a TaxCut Deluxe 2005 CDs from Bestbuy thinking that I need a different copy from my online purchase for my Dad who is a homeowner. Then, came to find out that they are just the same and I could just pay for e-filing on the same software. So I went back to return the box that I bought to Bestbuy. The service rep just told me that the box is NO LONGER SEALED and cannot be returned for a refund due to copyright laws. Well… It was not even sealed when I bought it! There were no marks of tampering the seals nor scratches on the box to tell that somebody opened. I checked all the boxes in their store but unfortunately did not see any UNSEALED copy. It pissed me off big time. I will take some pictures and post it here later on. Maybe I should go back and try it again.
I haven’t updated this blog in a while. This is the only good thing bestbuy did on this situation –get me back to blogging mode.
