DAY 6 – p90x after a whole day of singing

This is probably one of my busiest day this month. I was up early at 7am for our band practice for our youth fellowship at church. This was our first meeting and the event went until about 1:00pm. Then we had to play some more and we recorded one of the songs that we play a lot, “From the Inside Out” by Hillsong. This video will be up on my facebook soon. We also had our Choir Practice for the Easter presentation at 4pm (more singing). Finally got home at 6:30pm.

Tonight is Kenpo X night. I did it well with my sister. My dad tried it but his belly is so big that he can’t bend his body (LOL!). I enjoyed this workout a lot. I was sweating the whole time and stretching my arms and hamstrings like never before. I didn’t have any problem completing all the reps at the DVD’s pace. My kicking is not as beautiful as what they do though, but I’m feeling the intensity of it. That’s what really matters!! BRING IT!

Timex controls iPod wirelessly!

Timex iControl

At last, here comes an iPod accessory that’s really useful aside from Nike+ Sport. Timex just released Ironman iControl watch that allows you to control your iPod on your wrist wirelessly. You can control Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down and Track Forward/Backwards. It looks to me on their website that it only supports Nano at this time. For $125, not a bad Timex Indiglo® and a gym accessory. Ships on 08/10.

FairUse4WM is back

I just tried this and it works. Thanks to DivineTao over at Doom9 forums.
Download the file at your own risk.

Did Yahoo Music Engine killed FairUse4WM?

Have you ever wish FU4WM existed when Microsoft released their DRM? I think it’s one of my favorite hack for this year. I’m enjoying it with my all you can eat Y! Unlimited subscription.

But this past couple of days, Yahoo Music Engine is requesting me to update the player. Doh?! why would I do that? Aside from the ever longing bugs from its beta version, everything works fine the way I wanted it to be –that is to download as much as I can and unDRM each and every wma files of ‘em. I know once I download the update everything will come to an end.

I’m glad I have other machine to test it with and I did. Well… here’s what happened.
I used my laptop to update my YME as a labrat. Downloaded 1 song, and opened it with FairUse4WM.exe. FU4WM tried to recover a key by opening a protected file. I expect it to freeze like it says it will until Windows Media Player (I got v11) closes but, …not FOREVER. Both YME and FU4WM frozed more than 20mins and I just gave up and killed the process. This might be the end of unDRMing downloaded Yahoo files.

Microsoft must have just patched my favorite hack and first rolled out with Yahoo :(
On my other machine (desktop), never will I update my YME beta. Screw you Yahoo!

Lala – Peerflix for CD

If you have heard of Peerflix already, you’ll love this new CD trading service by Lala. Lala works by YOU trading your own CD library and for every CD you trade you get one from your WANT LIST. It is the same as Peerflix but you just cannot buy your trading points (peerbux on Peerflix). Lala still on beta so invite only guys. But tell you what, I signed up to get the invite and after 3 days I received the invite and I’m in!!

The selection is good and the user interface is neat. It also shows users who also listen to that album. It has better user interaction compared to Netflix. You can say any blurbs to that user, turn it into conversation or request any CDs as well. When you view the album, like any other music store, you can preview a 30-sec audio clip.

I’ll definitely list some of my CDs I want to trade here. I hope Filipinos will see this service and trade some OPM (Original Pilipino Music). I have been longing to have this service and to see OPM albums… oh my, that will be AWESOME!! My username on Lala is kycz if you want to check out my collection. If it’s empty, that means I am being lazy. I have not listed but 2 on my list when I wrote this entry.
